We are all faced with life’s challenges, some we choose,
some choose us.
Exactly one year ago today I set off on the voyage of my
life to travel the world, alone.
One year on and I’m back in Sheffield a much
wiser, humbler and cynical individual.
One year on….I look back at the lessons I’ve learnt and how
I see my life differently now.
Never again will I take my bed or a warm shower
for granted. I have fewer friends than this time last year. However the friends I
have now are true friends and as I like to call them the ‘crème de la crème’ of friends. I am forever grateful for their support and love.
Would I do it all over again? Well, I’m unsure of the
answer, but one thing I can tell you is that I genuinely had an amazing time, but there’s no place like home.
